Fashion design is a form of art. Fashion is a term commonly used to describe a style of clothing worn by most of people of a country. A fashion usually remains popular for about 1-3 years and then is replaced by yet another fashion. Most people do not easily except the changes. A clothing style may be introduced as a fashion but its use becomes a custom after being handed down from generation to generation. A fashion that comes and goes is called a Fad. The designs can either be embroidered onto the fabric, woven on to the fabric, silk screened, or ironed onto the fabric to create a desired look. Some images that have been used to enhance an article of clothing range from a simple design on front of a T shirt to a famous printing that has been woven into fabric creating a colorful piece of art that one can wear. YouTube How to Start-Basic Information if you are just Starting

YouTube-Topic 1 YouTube How to start. We are going to start from the beginning by setting up an account.  So, if you don’t know much about YouTube, this post is for you.



YouTube How to start – basic information



  • Google owns YouTube

  • We are going to set up a YouTube channel to help promote your blog

  • A YouTube channel is a place to call home for all our blog videos

  • A YouTube channel is free

  • If someone “subscribes” to your YouTube channel, they will be notified when you post a new video.


YouTube How to start – Create a YouTube channel



  1. Go to http://www.youtube.com/

  2. Click Sign in in the top right corner of the screen.

  3. type in your Google account name and password Sign in

    • If you don’t have a Google account, you will need to click Create an account in the top right part of the screen and get a Google account first.



  4. Once you are signed in, click the arrow by your name in the top right corner and choose My Chanel

  5. A Screen comes up that is labeled “Set up your channel on YouTube”.

  6. Your name appears as it is on the Google account. I signed up years ago, so it is my personal name. So, I have to click To Use a Business or other name click here

  7. You will get another screen. Type in a user name (You are limited to the number of characters you can use; I typed Daily Technology).

    • Click Check Availability.

    • If the name is already taken, YouTube will give you a message and you can then try another name.



  8. Once you have a name, type in your birthdate and gender and click Create Channel

  9. My YouTube address will be http://www.youtube.com/user/PedrVO. Your address will be the same except the last part will be your user name.


 

YouTube How to start – Tweak some basic settings



  1. You will get a new screen. Mouse over the icon for your picture and you will see a pencil. Click on the pencil. You can add a picture if you want. But it has to be small in size; it can only be up to 1 MB.

  2. Go to the top right. Click the arrow by your name. Choose Settings

  3. Overview Screen. Choose if you are or if you are not going to allow advertisements. Save

  4. Click Privacy on the left: Choose Let people find my channel on YouTube if they have my email address

  5. You have now tweaked some of the settings.

 What is SEO? We are gong to start from the beginning. What is SEO in non-techy words? Avatar: Get Your Picture Out There and Keep Branding

Images-Topic 5 Avatar. We will cover some basic information and then continue with steps to get you an Avatar. Avatar: Huh? What is it? It is an icon image that represents you online. When you comment on the internet, your “Avatar” (your image) will then appear by your name. It is one more thing that helps to brand you and your blog.  If you look at my Author Box at the bottom of this page, you will see my Avatar.
